Lindsey Smith began dancing at three and specialized in acrobatics and tumbling at the age of eight.
She studied at All American Dance Factory in Tampa, FL under the direction of Terri Howell for 11 years, starting out
on the competition team, advancing to student assistant, and then becoming the main acrobatic instructor. She then
moved to Tallahassee, FL where she started up an acrobatic program and taught at Wakulla Dance Academy in Crawfordville, FL.
Lindsey uses positive reinforcement plus technique to progress her students and their tricks. She still practices her
acrobatic skills and can demonstrate the correct acrobatic technique. She gets so excited when one of her students achieves
a new trick and is very encouraging with her students. Lindsey is a graduate from the University of Tampa with a Bachelor of
Arts Degree in Sociology and received her Masters in Guidance and School Counseling from Argosy University in 2010. |
