  Fran Peters

Fran was the owner and artistic director of Fran's Studio of Dance
in Oxon Hill, Maryland for 31 years and served as the artistic
director for the PM Dance Institute for 27 years. Her students have appeared on shows like Good Morning America, The Today Show, The Rosie O'Donnell Show, Star Search, and So You Think You
Can Dance. They have also performed at Disney World, Disneyland, The Kennedy Center, and Children's Hospital with our then First
Lady Hillary Clinton, NBC, The National Theater, The Cherry
Blossom Parade, The Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade, The White House, Royal Caribbean's Mariner of the Seas, and the NBA All Star half time show. She has also coached several international gold medalists, including Rasta Thomas and Michele Wiles.

Fran has taught for every major dance organization including Dance Educators of America, Dance Teachers of Boston, Maryland Council of Dance, and the Professional Dance Teachers of America. She is a founding member of Dance Masters of America chapter 45 and serves as the Convention Chairman and Faculty Chairperson. Articles about Fran have appeared in Dance Teacher, Dance Spirit, and Dancer Magazine.
